So I was surfing the net the other day, visiting faith * in * fiction, and came upon this post. Beelezeblog, (RELIGION, POLITICS and DISTRACTION (with occasional gossip from Hell). Updated every Friday) follows in the footsteps of C.S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters. An interesting read.
From "The Emerging Excrement":
To my credit, I have most humans fooled regarding this movement. They believe it to be nothing more than a collection of post-modern bed-wetters with goat-tees and tattoos. When people think of the Emerging Church, they imagine a nondenominational service featuring a 10th century liturgy in Latin sung to the tune of a Dave Matthews song. The think of liturgical juggling and magazine collages that pass for art.
Some of my friends will likely find this a less... palateable... site than others. As with Screwtape, language sometimes gets a bit coarse.
